Job Description
We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Remote Transcription Quality Checker to join our growing team. In this 100% remote role, you will be responsible for reviewing transcribed audio files to ensure accuracy, proper grammar, punctuation, and adherence to specific client guidelines. This position offers flexible hours, allowing you to manage your work-life balance effectively, with weekly pay for your contributions. Key Responsibilities
- Review transcribed audio files against original audio for accuracy, completeness, and formatting.
- Identify and correct errors in grammar, spelling, punctuation, and syntax.
- Ensure strict adherence to client-specific style guides and quality standards.
- Provide constructive feedback to transcribers to facilitate continuous improvement.
- Manage workload efficiently to meet turnaround time requirements.
- Maintain confidentiality and data security protocols for all sensitive information.
Required Skills
- Exceptional English grammar, spelling, and punctuation skills.
- Proven ability to detect subtle errors and inconsistencies.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficiency with various word processing and transcription software (e.g., Express Scribe, Otter.ai, custom platforms).
- Reliable high-speed internet connection and a quiet workspace.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in transcription, proofreading, or quality assurance roles.
- Familiarity with different accents and subject matter (e.g., medical, legal, general).
- Typing speed of 60+ WPM with high accuracy.
- Certification in transcription or related field.
