Job Description
As a Multi-Drop Delivery Driver for Amazon Logistics in South Bend, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently delivering packages to customers across various routes. This is an active role that requires attention to detail, strong time management, and a commitment to customer satisfaction. We provide a fully equipped delivery van, offer weekly pay, and value flexibility in our scheduling. You’ll be the face of Amazon, ensuring positive delivery experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently operate a provided delivery van to transport packages.
- Execute multi-drop deliveries to residential and commercial addresses within designated routes.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Use a handheld device for navigation, package scanning, and delivery confirmation.
- Interact professionally and courteously with customers.
- Manage time effectively to meet delivery deadlines.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Report any vehicle issues or incidents promptly.
Required Skills
- Valid driver's license (Class D or equivalent).
- Clean driving record.
- Ability to lift and carry packages up to 50 lbs.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Strong commitment to safety and customer service.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Comfortable using navigation and scanning technology.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in multi-drop delivery or courier services.
- Familiarity with the South Bend area.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to adapt to changing routes and schedules.
