Job Description
Ark Academy Trust is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Primary / Elementary School Teachers to join our vibrant schools in the London area. Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging, high-quality lessons across the primary curriculum.
- Create a positive, safe, and stimulating learning environment that encourages pupil participation and fosters curiosity.
- Assess, monitor, record, and report on the learning and development of pupils, providing constructive feedback.
- Manage pupil behavior effectively, promoting respect, self-discipline, and collaboration.
- Communicate effectively with parents and carers regarding pupil progress and well-being.
- Participate in school meetings, professional development, and extra-curricular activities as required.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and share best practices and contribute to the wider school community.
Required Skills
- Hold a recognised teaching qualification (e.g., Bachelor of Education, PGCE, or equivalent).
- Demonstrable passion for primary education and working with young children.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to create an inclusive and supportive classroom environment.
- Strong organizational and classroom management abilities.
- Flexibility and adaptability to new educational systems and cultural contexts.
- Commitment to continuous professional development.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience teaching primary/elementary age groups in any country.
- Familiarity with the UK National Curriculum (training provided if not).
- Experience with diverse student populations.
- Proficiency in additional languages.
- Desire to reside and work long-term in the UK.
