Key Responsibilities

• Complete all required paid training to obtain a Class A or B commercial driver's license with passenger endorsement.
• Operate transit buses safely and efficiently over designated routes, adhering to schedules and traffic laws.
• Provide excellent customer service, assisting passengers with information, fares, and accessibility needs.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, reporting any mechanical issues promptly.
• Ensure the safety of all passengers, adhering to company policies and procedures.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch, supervisors, and other team members.
• Maintain a clean and orderly bus interior.
• Handle passenger inquiries and resolve minor conflicts professionally.

Required Skills

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Valid California Driver's License with a clean driving record.
• Ability to obtain a Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with passenger endorsement (training provided).
• Ability to pass a comprehensive background check, Department of Transportation (DOT) physical, and drug screening.
• Strong commitment to safety and customer service.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• No prior professional driving experience is required – full paid training will be provided.

Preferred Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Prior experience in a customer-facing role.
• Basic mechanical aptitude.
• Bilingual skills (e.g., Spanish, Vietnamese, Korean).
