Job Description
Join Loomis US as an Armored Car Cash Transit Guard (Trainee) and embark on a rewarding career in security. No prior experience is required, as we offer comprehensive, paid firearms training and all necessary certifications. You will be responsible for the secure transport of cash and valuables, interacting with clients, and ensuring adherence to strict security protocols. Key Responsibilities
- Safely and securely transport cash, valuables, and other sensitive materials to and from client locations.
- Operate armored vehicles in a safe and defensive manner.
- Maintain strict adherence to all company policies, procedures, and security protocols.
- Load and unload valuable cargo, ensuring accurate counts and documentation.
- Interact professionally with clients, representing Loomis US with integrity and professionalism.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles and equipment.
- Remain vigilant and aware of surroundings to identify and mitigate potential security risks.
- Complete all required paperwork and reports accurately and in a timely manner.
- Participate actively in all provided training, including paid firearms qualification and defensive driving.
Required Skills
- Ability to obtain a firearms permit and maintain ongoing qualification (training provided).
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow precise instructions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Physical ability to lift and carry heavy bags of cash/valuables (up to 50 lbs) and operate in varying weather conditions.
- A strong sense of responsibility and integrity.
- Commitment to safety and security protocols.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a security, military, or law enforcement role (not required, but a plus).
- Knowledge of local geography and routes within Billings, MT and surrounding areas.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
