Job Description

This is a vital office-based role focused on administrative support within a hospital ward, not direct patient care. Key Responsibilities
- Manage and organize patient charts and medical records accurately.
- Answer phones, direct calls, and take messages for medical staff and patients.
- Schedule appointments, tests, and procedures as directed by clinical staff.
- Process patient admissions, discharges, and transfers efficiently.
- Maintain supplies and equipment for the nursing unit.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Support the nursing staff with various administrative tasks.
- Ensure confidentiality of all patient information in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
- Operate standard office equipment including computers, printers, and fax machines.
