Job Description
Are you passionate about hospitality but lack professional experience? The Keg Steakhouse + Bar in Barrie is excited to offer an incredible opportunity for enthusiastic individuals to join our front-of-house team as Server / Wait Staff. No previous experience is required! We believe in nurturing talent and will provide comprehensive, hands-on training to equip you with all the skills needed to excel in this role. You will learn the art of providing exceptional guest service, managing sections, and contributing to a positive dining atmosphere. This is a fantastic entry point into the culinary and hospitality industry with a reputable brand.
Key Responsibilities
- Warmly greet guests and guide them through our menu offerings.
- Accurately take food and beverage orders, ensuring special requests and dietary needs are communicated to the kitchen.
- Serve food and beverages promptly and professionally.
- Anticipate guest needs and provide proactive service to enhance their dining experience.
- Process payments efficiently and accurately.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including setting and clearing tables.
- Collaborate effectively with kitchen staff and other team members to ensure smooth service.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including food handling and alcohol service guidelines.
- Attend and actively participate in all training sessions and team meetings.
