Job Description

Join HealthLink Connect Solutions as a Remote Patient Appointment Scheduler, where you will play a crucial role in connecting patients with the care they need. This position involves managing inbound and outbound calls, scheduling appointments across various medical specialties, verifying patient information, and providing exceptional customer service. You will be an integral part of our remote healthcare call center team, contributing to a seamless patient experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Answer inbound calls from patients and healthcare providers promptly and professionally.
  • Accurately schedule, reschedule, and cancel patient appointments using our electronic health record (EHR) system.
  • Conduct outbound calls for appointment reminders, follow-ups, and to gather necessary patient information.
  • Verify patient demographics, insurance details, and primary care physician information.
  • Provide clear and concise information regarding appointment preparations, clinic locations, and general inquiries.
  • Maintain strict patient confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Collaborate with clinical staff and other departments to ensure smooth patient flow.
  • Document all patient interactions accurately and efficiently.
