Job Description

No prior experience in wastewater management is required; we provide comprehensive training and support to help you develop the skills and knowledge needed to excel in this essential role. You will learn how to inspect, maintain, and repair our extensive sewer network, ensuring the efficient and safe operation of critical infrastructure for our communities. Key Responsibilities
- Participate in a structured training program to learn all aspects of sewer network maintenance.
- Assist experienced Sewer Workers with routine inspections, cleaning, and unblocking of sewer pipes.
- Learn to operate and maintain specialized equipment for sewer operations, including jetting units and CCTV cameras.
- Support emergency response activities related to sewer blockages and incidents.
- Adhere to strict health and safety protocols at all times.
- Document work performed, including findings and actions taken.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and other departments.
- Undertake general laboring tasks as required.
Required Skills
- A strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Physical fitness and ability to perform manual labor in various weather conditions.

- Excellent communication skills.
- Full UK driving license (essential for site travel).
