Job Description
We are seeking a friendly and enthusiastic Gourmet Chocolate Shop Cashier to join our team in Georgetown. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who love chocolate and enjoy providing excellent customer service. As a cashier, you will be the face of our brand, assisting customers with their purchases, handling transactions, and ensuring the shop remains inviting and well-stocked. Full training will be provided, making this an ideal role for entry-level candidates eager to start their career in retail.
Key Responsibilities
- Process customer purchases accurately and efficiently using a POS system
- Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions with attention to detail
- Assist customers with product selection and provide information about our gourmet chocolates
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area and sales floor
- Replenish stock on shelves and displays as needed
- Prepare samples for customers and maintain hygiene standards
- Open and close cash registers, ensuring accuracy in daily reconciliation
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve minor complaints professionally
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including food safety guidelines
Required Skills
- Excellent customer service and communication skills

- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 20 lbs
