Job Description
Join GardaWorld as a Public Transit Security Officer in Oshawa, where you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and security of passengers, staff, and property across the public transit system. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct regular patrols of transit vehicles, stations, and properties to deter crime and ensure safety.
- Monitor surveillance equipment and respond promptly to alarms or suspicious activities.
- Enforce transit rules and regulations, ensuring compliance and addressing violations professionally.
- Provide assistance and directions to passengers, offering excellent customer service.
- De-escalate conflicts and manage challenging situations with tact and professionalism.
- Prepare detailed incident reports and maintain accurate logs of daily activities.
- Collaborate with law enforcement and emergency services as needed.
- Conduct security checks and ensure the integrity of transit facilities and infrastructure.
Required Skills
