Job Description
Join the team at Fantasy Realms Hobbies as a Comic Book & Hobby Store Cashier! This is an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about pop culture, comics, and hobbies, looking to work in a relaxed and engaging retail environment. As a Cashier, you will be the welcoming face of our store, assisting customers with purchases, answering questions, and ensuring a smooth checkout experience. We’re looking for enthusiastic individuals who are eager to learn, provide excellent customer service, and contribute to our vibrant store atmosphere. Full training will be provided, so prior experience isn’t a strict requirement – your passion and willingness to learn are what matter most!
Key Responsibilities
- Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently using our POS system.
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with their inquiries and product locations.
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area and sales floor.
- Assist with merchandising, stocking shelves, and ensuring products are neatly displayed.
- Handle cash, credit, and gift card transactions, including opening and closing procedures.
- Learn about our product range (comic books, games, collectibles) to better assist customers.
- Resolve customer issues and complaints with a friendly and helpful attitude.
- Support team members with various store operations as needed.
Required Skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
