Job Description
We are seeking an enthusiastic and reliable individual to join our team as a Paintball Course Referee / Cleaner. This is an active outdoor role perfect for someone who enjoys being outside, interacting with people, and ensuring a safe and clean environment. You will be responsible for overseeing paintball games, enforcing rules, ensuring player safety, and maintaining the cleanliness and readiness of our courses and equipment. Full training will be provided to the right candidate who demonstrates a positive attitude and a commitment to our park’s standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Referee paintball games, ensuring fair play and adherence to all safety rules and regulations.
- Monitor players for safety, ensuring proper use of equipment and protective gear.
- Provide clear instructions and game briefings to players of all ages and experience levels.
- Inspect and maintain paintball fields before, during, and after games, including obstacle setup and boundary checks.
- Clean paintball equipment, bunkers, and general park areas regularly to maintain high standards of hygiene and appearance.
- Assist with basic equipment maintenance, such as marker cleaning and air tank refills.
- Provide excellent customer service, answering questions and ensuring a positive experience for all guests.
- Manage player check-ins and check-outs as needed.
- Respond quickly and appropriately to any incidents or emergencies.
- Assist with opening and closing procedures of the park.
Required Skills
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent observational skills and attention to detail, especially regarding safety.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to stand, walk, run, and lift up to 25 lbs regularly.
- Comfortable working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
- Positive attitude and a team player.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a customer service or outdoor recreation role.
- Basic knowledge of paintball rules or equipment (training will be provided).
- First Aid and CPR certification.
