Job Description
We are seeking enthusiastic and physically fit individuals to join our team as Sustainable Forestry Labourers for seasonal tree planting work. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute directly to environmental conservation and sustainable land management. You will be involved in the crucial initial stages of forest regeneration, working outdoors in various weather conditions. Full training will be provided, making this an ideal role for individuals looking for seasonal employment, gaining experience in forestry, or simply contributing to a greener future. This role involves strenuous physical activity and a strong commitment to health and safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Efficiently plant a variety of tree species according to specific planting plans and densities.
- Prepare planting sites, including clearing debris, brush, or competing vegetation as directed.
- Maintain planting equipment and tools in good working order.
- Adhere strictly to all health and safety regulations and company policies.
- Work effectively as part of a team to meet daily planting targets.
- Report any issues or concerns regarding site conditions or equipment to supervisors.
- Contribute to a positive and productive work environment.
