Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Glazier / Window Installer to join our dynamic team in Concord, CA. This is a unique opportunity for experienced glaziers who require international sponsorship to work in the United States. The successful candidate will be responsible for the accurate measurement, cutting, fabrication, installation, and repair of various glass products, including windows, doors, mirrors, and shower enclosures, across diverse construction projects. You will work with a team of professionals to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. Key Responsibilities
- Measure, cut, fit, and install various types of glass, mirrors, and window units in residential and commercial buildings.
- Inspect and repair existing glass installations, identifying and rectifying defects or damages.
- Handle and transport glass materials safely to and from job sites.
- Interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine dimensions and installation procedures.
- Prepare frames and sashes for glass installation, ensuring proper sealing and caulking.
- Work collaboratively with other construction professionals and trades.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, as well as industry safety standards.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working order.
- Provide exceptional customer service and ensure client satisfaction with completed work.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a Glazier or Window Installer.
- Proficiency in measuring, cutting, and installing various glass types.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications.
- Strong understanding of safety protocols and best practices in glazing.
- Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy materials, climb ladders, and work at heights.
- Excellent attention to detail and precision in work.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Eligibility for international sponsorship to work in the United States.
Preferred Qualifications
- Completion of a formal apprenticeship program in glazing.
- Certification in specific glazing techniques or safety (e.g., OSHA 10/30).
- Experience with specialty glass types (e.g., insulated, tempered, laminated).
- Proficiency in operating specialized glazing equipment.
- Fluency in English and conversational Spanish.
