Job Description
We are seeking enthusiastic and reliable individuals to join our DPD team as Drivers Mates in Bath. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals looking for a hands-on role in the logistics sector, with full training provided. As a Drivers Mate, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient delivery of parcels to our customers throughout the Bath area. You will be assisting our experienced drivers with loading and unloading, navigating routes, and providing exceptional customer service. Key Responsibilities
- Assist drivers with the loading and unloading of parcels at the depot and customer locations.
- Navigate routes efficiently using provided tools and local knowledge.
- Ensure the safe and secure handling of all parcels to prevent damage.
- Provide excellent customer service during deliveries, maintaining a professional and friendly approach.
- Help with maintaining the cleanliness and tidiness of the delivery vehicle.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations and company policies.
- Communicate effectively with the driver and depot team regarding delivery progress and any issues.
