Job Description
We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Remote Life Coach / Mentor to join our growing team. This is a unique opportunity to empower individuals to achieve their personal and professional goals from the comfort of your home office. As a Life Coach / Mentor, you will provide personalized guidance and support to clients through phone and video sessions, helping them identify challenges, set realistic objectives, and develop actionable strategies for success. This role requires strong communication skills, empathy, and a genuine desire to facilitate positive change in others. You will work within a supportive framework, leveraging your coaching expertise to foster resilience, well-being, and personal growth among our diverse client base.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct one-on-one coaching and mentoring sessions via phone and video calls.
- Help clients define clear, measurable goals and create action plans to achieve them.
- Provide guidance and support on a wide range of personal and professional development topics.
- Actively listen to clients' needs, challenges, and aspirations.
- Offer constructive feedback and hold clients accountable for their commitments.
- Maintain accurate and confidential client records.
- Participate in ongoing professional development and team meetings.
- Adhere to ethical coaching standards and best practices.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless client experience.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in life coaching, mentoring, counseling, or a related field (2+ years).
- Excellent active listening and communication skills.
- Strong ability to build rapport and trust with diverse clients.
- Empathy, patience, and a non-judgmental approach.
- Proficiency in using virtual communication platforms (e.g., Zoom, Microsoft Teams).
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to maintain strict client confidentiality.
- Resilience and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Certification from an accredited coaching program (e.g., ICF, Coach U).
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, Human Resources, or a related field.
- Experience working with EAP (Employee Assistance Program) clients.
- Bilingualism (English/French) is a strong asset.
- Familiarity with various coaching methodologies and tools.
