Job Description

We understand that starting a new profession can be challenging, which is why we are offering a unique opportunity: we will pay for your Passenger Carrying Vehicle (PCV) licence training, equipping you with all the skills and certifications needed to become a professional bus driver. Key Responsibilities
- Successfully complete all required training to obtain a PCV (Commercial Driver's Licence with Passenger Endorsement)
- Adhere to all safety regulations and traffic laws during training and once licensed
- Learn to operate transit buses safely and efficiently on scheduled routes
- Develop strong customer service skills to interact positively with passengers
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections as trained
- Maintain punctuality and adherence to assigned schedules
- Learn to handle fare collection and record-keeping procedures accurately
- Report any mechanical issues or incidents promptly and according to company policy
Required Skills
- Valid driver's licence (Class D minimum) with a clean driving record for at least 3 years
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and pre-employment drug screen
- Ability to pass a DOT physical examination
- Strong commitment to safety and following procedures
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A positive attitude and a customer-focused approach
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges
Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Previous experience in a customer service role
- Basic mechanical aptitude
