Job Description
We are seeking enthusiastic and hardworking individuals to join our team as Mulch Spreading Laborers for the upcoming spring and summer seasons. This role is crucial to maintaining the aesthetic appeal and health of our clients’ gardens and landscapes. You will be responsible for the efficient and careful application of various types of mulch, contributing directly to the beauty and longevity of our projects. This is a physically demanding yet rewarding role perfect for those who enjoy working outdoors and seeing tangible results.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently spread mulch in garden beds, tree rings, and other landscape areas according to project specifications.
- Prepare garden beds for mulching, including weeding, edging, and general cleanup.
- Load and unload mulch from trucks and wheelbarrows, ensuring proper material handling.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including tools and equipment.
- Follow all safety procedures and guidelines on job sites.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
- Assist with other general landscape maintenance tasks as needed.
Required Skills
- Ability to perform strenuous physical labor, including lifting, bending, kneeling, and standing for extended periods.
- Reliable transportation to and from job sites in the Waukesha area.
- Strong work ethic and a positive attitude.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Commitment to punctuality and attendance.
Preferred Qualifications
