Job Description
We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Light Assembly & Packaging Assistant to join our production team in Ann Arbor. This entry-level position is perfect for individuals looking to start a career in manufacturing with a reputable company. You will be responsible for the accurate assembly of small components and the packaging of finished products, ensuring all items meet our stringent quality standards. Key Responsibilities
- Perform light assembly of various components according to specifications and work instructions.
- Inspect parts and products for defects, ensuring quality control standards are met.
- Accurately count, sort, and package finished products for shipment.
- Label and prepare packages for shipping, ensuring proper documentation.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation, adhering to safety guidelines.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily production targets.
- Operate basic hand tools and equipment as needed for assembly and packaging tasks.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or quality issues to supervisors promptly.
