Job Description

Shopify is looking for a motivated Product Management Intern to join our cross-functional teams. Key Responsibilities
- Assist Product Managers with market research, competitor analysis, and customer feedback collection.
- Support the creation and refinement of product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and review meetings with cross-functional teams.
- Help analyze product performance metrics and identify areas for improvement.
- Contribute to internal communication efforts, ensuring alignment across stakeholders.
- Shadow Product Managers in various meetings and learning sessions to understand strategic decision-making.
Required Skills
- Currently enrolled in or a recent graduate of a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Demonstrated interest in product management and the tech industry.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Eagerness to learn and take initiative.
Preferred Qualifications
- Basic understanding of agile methodologies.
- Experience with data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, Google Analytics) or prototyping tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch).
- Prior experience in a startup or technology-focused environment (e.g., personal projects, volunteer work, clubs).
- Familiarity with e-commerce platforms or online business models.
