Job Description
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Part-Time Commercial Cleaner to join our evening team with an immediate start. This role is crucial for maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of various commercial properties in Sioux Falls. As a Commercial Cleaner, you will be responsible for performing a variety of cleaning tasks to ensure our clients’ facilities are pristine and ready for business each day. We provide comprehensive training, so while previous experience is a plus, it’s not strictly required. What’s essential is a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a commitment to reliability.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform general cleaning duties, including dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping floors.
- Clean and sanitize restrooms and breakrooms, including fixtures, sinks, toilets, and countertops.
- Empty trash receptacles and replace liners.
- Clean windows, glass surfaces, and mirrors.
- Restock supplies in restrooms and kitchen areas.
- Follow established safety procedures and protocols.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors regarding any issues or concerns.
- Adhere to company policies and client specific cleaning requirements.
Required Skills
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
- Strong attention to detail and a thorough approach to cleaning.
- Reliability and punctuality.
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and perform physical tasks such as bending, stooping, and standing for extended periods.
- Excellent time management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial services.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (some sites may require travel).
