Job Description
We are offering an exciting and unique internship opportunity for an aspiring healthcare professional to gain direct exposure to the world of plastic surgery. This hands-on internship focuses on both clinical shadowing and administrative support, providing a comprehensive understanding of a busy plastic surgery practice. The successful intern will observe surgical consultations, patient follow-ups, and clinic operations, while also assisting with various administrative tasks to ensure the smooth running of the clinic. Key Responsibilities
- Shadow Plastic Surgeons during patient consultations and follow-up appointments.
- Observe minor in-office procedures (with appropriate consent and discretion).
- Assist with patient intake and preparation, ensuring a comfortable and private experience.
- Support front office staff with scheduling appointments, managing patient records, and handling inquiries.
- Prepare and organize clinical materials and examination rooms.
- Maintain strict patient confidentiality and adhere to all clinic policies and procedures.
- Participate in educational discussions and learn about various plastic surgery procedures and patient care protocols.
