Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Remote Fraud Investigator Trainee. This is a unique opportunity for an entry-level professional to start a rewarding career within a government agency, with no prior experience required. You will receive comprehensive training to develop the skills necessary to detect, investigate, and prevent fraudulent activities against government programs. Key Responsibilities
- Participate actively in all provided training programs and workshops.
- Learn to review and analyze various data sources, records, and documents to identify potential indicators of fraud.
- Under supervision, assist in conducting preliminary investigations and gathering factual information.
- Develop skills in preparing clear, concise, and accurate reports summarizing investigative findings.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding case progress and challenges.
- Adhere to all legal guidelines, departmental policies, and ethical standards throughout the investigative process.
- Continuously learn about new fraud schemes, investigative techniques, and relevant legislation.
Required Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite).

Preferred Qualifications
- Post-secondary education in criminology, law enforcement, business administration, or a related field (not required, but an asset).
