Job Description
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Boutique Hotel Manager to lead our operations at the Prince Arthur Waterfront Hotel & Suites. The ideal candidate will be a visionary leader with a passion for delivering outstanding guest experiences, optimizing operational efficiency, and inspiring a high-performing team. This role requires a hands-on approach to hotel management, encompassing everything from guest relations and staff supervision to financial oversight and marketing initiatives. Candidates requiring a Certificate of Sponsorship (CoS) for work authorization are encouraged to apply, as we are able to support qualified international talent.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all hotel operations, ensuring the highest standards of guest satisfaction and service quality.
- Manage, train, and motivate hotel staff across all departments, fostering a positive and productive work culture.
- Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance hotel profitability and guest retention.
- Monitor financial performance, prepare budgets, manage expenses, and analyze revenue reports.
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and regulatory requirements.
- Handle guest complaints and feedback professionally, striving for immediate resolution and continuous improvement.
- Oversee facility maintenance, ensuring the hotel's appearance and functionality meet brand standards.
- Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to promote the hotel and attract new business.
- Implement innovative ideas to enhance the boutique hotel experience and distinguish the property in the market.
Required Skills
- Minimum 3 years of experience in hotel management, preferably within a boutique or upscale property.
- Demonstrated leadership and team management abilities.
- Exceptional customer service and interpersonal communication skills.
- Strong financial acumen and experience with budget management.
- Proficiency in hotel management software (PMS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Proven problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Prior experience managing a property with a strong emphasis on unique guest experiences.
- Fluency in multiple languages.
