Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Aerospace Engineer to join our innovative team in Palmdale, CA. This pivotal role involves contributing to the design, analysis, development, and testing of advanced aerospace systems and components. As an Aerospace Engineer, you will be instrumental in the lifecycle of our cutting-edge projects, from concept to deployment. Key Responsibilities
- Perform design and analysis of aerospace structures, systems, and components using CAD and FEA tools.
- Conduct simulations and modeling to predict system performance and identify potential issues.
- Develop and execute test plans for prototypes and production units, analyzing results and making recommendations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including manufacturing, quality assurance, and project management.
- Prepare technical reports, documentation, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with engineering standards, safety regulations, and project timelines.
- Participate in design reviews and provide technical expertise to optimize solutions.
Required Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., CATIA, SolidWorks) and FEA tools (e.g., Abaqus, ANSYS).
- Strong understanding of aerodynamics, structural mechanics, and propulsion systems.
- Experience with MATLAB, Python, or other programming languages for data analysis and scripting.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Eligibility for U.S. Security Clearance (requires U.S. Citizenship).
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in Aerospace Engineering or a related discipline.
- Experience with aerospace industry standards and regulations (e.g., FAA, DoD).
- Familiarity with systems engineering principles.
- Project management or team leadership experience.
- Existing U.S. Security Clearance.
