Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Volcanology & Tectonic Studies Intern to join our geosciences research team in The Heights, Houston. Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the collection, processing, and analysis of geological and geophysical data related to volcanic activity and tectonic structures.

- Prepare clear and concise reports, presentations, and scientific visualizations of research findings.
- Learn and effectively utilize specialized geophysical software and geological modeling tools.
- Actively participate in team meetings, seminars, and scientific discussions, contributing ideas and insights.

- Adhere strictly to all company safety protocols and ethical guidelines in data handling and research practices.
Required Skills
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Geology, Geophysics, Earth Sciences, or a closely related field.
- Demonstrated strong academic performance and a genuine interest in volcanology and tectonic studies.
- Basic theoretical understanding of geological principles, plate tectonics, and rock mechanics.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for data management and presentation.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for technical reporting and team collaboration.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a meticulous attention to detail.
