Job Description
Are you passionate about early childhood education and eager to gain hands-on experience in a vibrant pre-kindergarten setting? Garderie Éducative Les Petits Génies is looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Early Childhood Education Intern to join our dedicated team in Trois-Rivières. This internship offers a unique opportunity to learn directly from experienced educators, contribute to the development of young minds, and immerse yourself in the daily operations of a high-quality early learning environment. No prior experience is required; we are seeking individuals with a strong desire to learn, a love for children, and a commitment to creating positive educational experiences. Full training and mentorship will be provided.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist lead educators in planning and implementing engaging pre-K activities.
- Support children during daily routines, including mealtimes, nap times, and transitions.
- Observe and learn classroom management techniques and child development principles.
- Help maintain a safe, clean, and organized learning environment.
- Engage with children in play, creative activities, and educational exercises.
- Assist with record-keeping and administrative tasks as needed.
- Collaborate with the education team to foster a positive and inclusive atmosphere.
- Participate in professional development opportunities and team meetings.

- Knowledge of child development stages, especially for pre-kindergarten age.
- Bilingualism (French and English) is an asset.
