Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Beverage Factory Worker to join our production team in Frederick, MD. This entry-level position involves working a 12-hour rotating shift schedule (day and night shifts) to support our 24/7 beverage manufacturing operations. No prior experience is required, as comprehensive training will be provided to all new hires. As a Beverage Factory Worker, you will be responsible for various tasks related to the production, packaging, and quality control of our wide range of beverages, ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of safety and quality. This is a physically demanding role that requires attention to detail, adherence to safety protocols, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate production machinery and equipment under supervision, following standard operating procedures.
- Monitor production lines, identifying and reporting any malfunctions or irregularities.
- Load and unload raw materials, finished products, and packaging supplies.
- Conduct quality checks on products, ensuring they meet specified standards.
- Package and label products accurately for shipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to all sanitation and hygiene guidelines.
- Follow all safety protocols and use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve production targets and maintain operational efficiency.
- Perform routine equipment cleaning and basic preventative maintenance tasks.
- Accurately complete production logs and documentation.
- Assist with inventory management and material handling tasks.
Required Skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
- Capable of lifting and moving heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) regularly.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes and technologies.
- Commitment to adhering to all safety and quality standards.
- Flexibility to work a rotating 12-hour day/night shift schedule, including weekends and holidays.
Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED.
- Basic understanding of manufacturing processes.
- Previous experience in a production or factory setting (advantageous but not required).
