Job Description
We are seeking a highly analytical and experienced Revenue Manager to join our executive team at Luxor Grand Hotel Shreveport. This pivotal role will be responsible for maximizing hotel revenue and profitability through strategic pricing, inventory management, and distribution channel optimization. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of hospitality market trends, competitive analysis, and revenue management systems. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement effective revenue management strategies to maximize occupancy, Average Daily Rate (ADR), and RevPAR.
- Analyze market demand, competitor pricing, and historical data to forecast revenue and identify opportunities.
- Manage and optimize all online and offline distribution channels, including OTAs, GDS, and direct bookings.
- Oversee the pricing and inventory of all hotel room types and packages.
- Monitor group and transient bookings, adjusting strategies as needed to achieve targets.
- Prepare comprehensive reports on revenue performance, market trends, and competitive landscape.
- Collaborate with sales, marketing, and front office teams to align strategies and ensure seamless execution.
- Utilize revenue management systems (RMS) to their full potential and ensure data accuracy.
- Participate in budget creation and long-term financial planning.
- Conduct regular competitor analysis to maintain a competitive edge.
- Ensure compliance with all brand standards and company policies related to revenue management.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in Revenue Management within the hospitality industry (hotels or resorts).
- Proven track record of increasing RevPAR and profitability.
- Proficiency in revenue management software (e.g., Opera, SynXis, IDeaS, Duetto).
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make data-driven decisions.
- Excellent understanding of hotel distribution channels and online travel agencies (OTAs).
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree or professional certification in Revenue Management (e.g., CRME).
- Experience with luxury hotel segments.
- Knowledge of the Shreveport/Louisiana hospitality market.
- Multilingual abilities are a plus.
