Job Description
Join Nigerian Breweries Plc as a Beverage Factory Worker and be an integral part of our production team in Magodo, Lagos. This full-time role operates on a rotational 12-hour shift basis, encompassing both day and night shifts, ensuring continuous production of our beloved beverage brands. You will be responsible for various tasks across the production line, maintaining hygiene standards, and adhering to safety protocols. Key Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor production line machinery and equipment according to established procedures.
- Perform quality checks on products to ensure they meet company standards and specifications.
- Assist with loading, unloading, and moving raw materials and finished products.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the work area, adhering to strict hygiene and sanitation protocols.
- Follow all safety regulations and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
- Report any equipment malfunctions, production issues, or safety concerns to supervisors promptly.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily production targets and objectives.
- Participate in regular inventory counts and stock management as required.
- Package and label products accurately for distribution.
Required Skills
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Basic literacy and numeracy skills.
- Physical stamina and ability to stand for extended periods, lift heavy objects (up to 25kg), and perform repetitive tasks.
- Willingness to work 12-hour rotational shifts (day and night, including weekends and public holidays).
- Commitment to safety and hygiene protocols.
- Team player with a positive attitude.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment is a plus, but not required.
- Familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
- SSCE/WAEC or equivalent qualification.
