Job Description
Are you passionate about bringing stories to life through visual media? ConnectIQ Creative is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Commercial Directing & Producing Intern to join our vibrant team. This entry-level internship is designed for individuals eager to dive into the world of advertising production, offering hands-on experience in the conceptualization, direction, and production of high-quality commercial content. No prior experience is required; we are looking for an eager learner who is ready to absorb knowledge and contribute creatively.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist producers and directors during all phases of commercial production, from pre-production to post-production.
- Support script development, storyboarding, and shot listing processes.
- Help with location scouting, talent coordination, and prop acquisition.
- Learn to operate various production equipment under supervision.
- Assist with on-set organization, scheduling, and logistics.
- Contribute creative ideas to projects and participate in brainstorming sessions.
- Support post-production tasks, including logging footage, basic editing assistance, and asset management.
- Conduct research as needed for specific projects or client briefs.
- Perform administrative duties related to production as assigned.
Required Skills
- No prior experience in commercial directing or producing is required – full training will be provided.
- Strong passion for film, video production, and advertising.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment.
- Proactive attitude and a strong eagerness to learn.
- Basic computer proficiency (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite or Google Workspace).
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in or a recent graduate of a related program (e.g., Film Production, Media Arts, Communications, Marketing).
- Familiarity with basic video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro) is a plus, but not required.
- Portfolio of personal video projects or creative work (even if non-professional) is a bonus.
