Job Description
We are seeking experienced and highly skilled Croupiers to join our esteemed team at The Gascoyne Sands Casino & Resort. As a Croupier, you will be responsible for creating an engaging and fair gaming experience for our guests across various table games. Your expertise, professionalism, and commitment to guest satisfaction will be paramount in maintaining our reputation as a luxury establishment. This role requires exceptional dexterity, mental arithmetic, and a keen eye for detail, along with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
Key Responsibilities
- Conducting table games with precision, efficiency, and strict adherence to house rules and gaming regulations.
- Managing game play, handling cash and chips, and making accurate payouts.
- Interacting with guests in a professional, courteous, and entertaining manner.
- Maintaining a high level of vigilance to ensure game integrity and identify suspicious activity.
- Assisting guests with game rules and promoting a positive gaming atmosphere.
- Collaborating with pit supervisors and other casino staff to ensure smooth operations.
- Adhering to responsible gaming practices and promoting a safe environment for all patrons.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a Croupier in a professional casino environment.
- Expertise in dealing multiple table games (e.g., Blackjack, Roulette, Baccarat, Poker).
- Exceptional mental arithmetic skills and strong hand-eye coordination.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- High level of integrity, professionalism, and attention to detail.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a Western Australian gaming license.
Preferred Qualifications
- Formal certification from a recognized Croupier training academy.
- Experience with VIP clientele and high-stakes gaming.
- Multilingual abilities are a plus.
- Knowledge of Responsible Gaming principles and practices.
