Job Description
As a Logistics Coordinator Intern – Fleet Management, you will support the efficient operation and maintenance of our extensive vehicle fleet. This entry-level position is designed for individuals with little to no prior experience, offering comprehensive training and mentorship. You will learn the intricacies of fleet scheduling, maintenance coordination, compliance, and data management, contributing directly to our operational effectiveness in the Busselton region. This internship provides invaluable hands-on experience in a dynamic logistics environment, preparing you for a successful career in the industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with scheduling and tracking fleet vehicle movements and availability.
- Support the coordination of vehicle maintenance, repairs, and servicing with internal teams and external providers.
- Help maintain accurate fleet records, including vehicle registration, insurance, and compliance documentation.
- Process data related to fleet performance, fuel consumption, and operational costs.
- Assist in monitoring driver logs and ensuring adherence to safety regulations and company policies.
- Contribute to the implementation of fleet optimization strategies and initiatives.
- Perform administrative tasks to support the fleet management team.
- Learn and apply best practices in logistics and fleet operations under supervision.
