Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Sustainable Packaging Line Worker to join our eco-friendly factory team in Port Alberni. This full-time day shift position is perfect for individuals who are passionate about sustainability and enjoy working in a dynamic production environment. As a key member of our manufacturing team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and accurate packaging of our sustainable products. Full training will be provided, making this an excellent opportunity for those looking to start a career in manufacturing with a focus on environmental stewardship.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor packaging machinery and equipment on the production line.
- Inspect products for quality defects and ensure packaging meets company standards.
- Load raw materials and packaging components onto the production line.
- Pack finished goods into boxes, cartons, or other containers as per specifications.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily production targets.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or product inconsistencies to supervisors.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, with a strong focus on sustainable practices.
