Job Description
We are seeking a highly detail-oriented and analytical Virtual Quality Assurance Auditor to join our remote team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and compliance of various data sets and processes. You will perform thorough audits, identify discrepancies, and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to implement corrective actions. This is a critical role focusing heavily on data quality, requiring a sharp eye for detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving within a fully remote environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive virtual audits of data sets, processes, and documentation to ensure adherence to established quality standards and regulatory requirements.
- Identify and document data anomalies, discrepancies, and areas for improvement, providing clear and concise reports.
- Collaborate with data management, operations, and IT teams to investigate root causes of quality issues and develop effective corrective and preventive actions.
- Develop and maintain audit checklists, procedures, and reports to standardize and improve the virtual auditing process.
- Monitor the implementation and effectiveness of corrective actions, ensuring sustained quality improvements.
- Stay updated with industry best practices for data quality assurance and remote auditing methodologies.
- Provide constructive feedback and recommendations to enhance data integrity and operational efficiency.
- Participate in training sessions and continuous professional development relevant to data auditing and quality assurance.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Quality Assurance, Data Auditing, or a related analytical role.
- Demonstrated strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and software (e.g., Excel, SQL, BI tools).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for clear reporting and collaboration.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a virtual, home-based environment.
- Strong understanding of data governance principles and quality assurance methodologies.
- Experience with regulatory compliance and data integrity principles.
- High level of integrity and professional ethics.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Data Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Certification in Quality Assurance (e.g., CSQA, CQIA) or Data Auditing.
- Experience with enterprise-level data management systems and databases.
- Familiarity with project management tools and methodologies.
- Knowledge of specific industry regulations relevant to data privacy and security (e.g., GDPR).
