Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and active Pallet Wrapping & Staging Operative to join our bustling warehouse team in Mississauga. This is an immediate start, hands-on role perfect for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment and are looking for a stable, full-time position with a global leader. You will play a crucial role in preparing goods for shipment, ensuring they are securely wrapped and accurately staged, contributing directly to the efficiency and safety of our logistics operations. Full training will be provided, making this an excellent opportunity for entry-level candidates eager to learn and grow within the logistics industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently operate pallet wrapping machinery to secure goods for transport.
- Manually wrap pallets when required, ensuring stability and protection of products.
- Accurately stage wrapped pallets in designated areas, optimizing warehouse space.
- Verify product counts and ensure correct labeling on all outgoing shipments.
- Perform quality checks on wrapped pallets to identify and report any damage or discrepancies.
- Assist with general warehouse duties, including sorting, loading, and unloading as needed.
- Adhere strictly to all company safety policies and procedures.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Required Skills
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Basic communication skills (reading, writing, and understanding English).
- Commitment to workplace safety.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment (even if informal).
- Experience operating pallet jacks or other material handling equipment.
