Job Description

Workwear Group in Tullamarine is seeking enthusiastic and reliable individuals to join our production team as Industrial Sewers on a casual basis for day shifts. No prior experience is required, as full comprehensive training will be provided to help you master our industrial sewing machines and techniques. This role is perfect for those who enjoy hands-on work, have an eye for detail, and are eager to learn a valuable skill within a supportive manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities
- Operate industrial sewing machines (e.g., single needle, overlocker) under supervision after receiving training
- Perform various sewing tasks, including stitching seams, attaching pockets, hemming, and finishing garments or components
- Inspect work for quality assurance and adherence to specifications
- Maintain a clean and organised work area
- Adhere to all safety procedures and guidelines
- Assist with other production-related tasks as needed
- Learn and apply new sewing techniques and processes efficiently
Required Skills
- Ability to learn new skills quickly
- Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
- Strong attention to detail
