Job Description

We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Dental Lab Plaster Caster / Technician to join our growing team. This hands-on role is crucial to our lab operations, involving the precise pouring and trimming of dental models from impressions. If you possess excellent manual dexterity, a keen eye for detail, and are eager to learn and contribute to the field of dental technology, we encourage you to apply. Key Responsibilities

  • Receive and inspect incoming dental impressions for quality and completeness.
  • Carefully mix and pour various plaster and stone materials into dental impressions to create accurate models.
  • Precisely trim and base dental models according to laboratory standards and specifications.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the model pouring area and related equipment.
  • Perform routine maintenance on lab equipment, including plaster trimmers and mixers.
  • Label and organize models for subsequent laboratory stages.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and quality control standards.
  • Assist other lab technicians with tasks as needed.

Required Skills

  • Excellent manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision.
  • Ability to follow detailed instructions accurately.
  • Good organizational skills.
  • Basic understanding of measurements and proportions.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Previous experience in a dental laboratory setting (even non-clinical).
  • Experience in crafts, pottery, model making, or similar fields requiring fine motor skills.
  • Familiarity with dental terminology is a plus but not required.
